Yahya Sinwar was elected as the successor to Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Palestinian independence armed group Hamas, after he was killed. This time the invader Israel has promised to kill him too. He is on Israel’s most wanted list.

Israel is determined to defend itself, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in a briefing at a military base in Israel. At the event, Israeli army chief Lt. Gen. Herzi Helvi vowed to find and attack the new Hamas leader (Sinwar). At the same time, he said to put pressure on Hamas to choose another leader.

Sinwar is considered to be the main planner of the unprecedented retaliatory attack of the Palestinian independence organization in Israel on October 7 last year.

Meanwhile, Iran has announced revenge against Israel after Haniya’s murder. There are fears that the war will spread throughout the Middle East.
