The al-Mawasi area of ​​Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip was designated a ‘humanitarian zone’ for displaced Palestinians. However, Israeli forces carried out massacres there on Saturday through air strikes. Where 90 people were killed and more than three hundred were injured.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has condemned the Israeli airstrike on Sunday in connection with the death of Khan Yunis.

In a statement clarifying that “nowhere in Gaza is safe now,” Guterres said the world and I were “shocked and saddened” by the Israeli attack on a densely populated humanitarian area, including the positions of displaced innocent Palestinians.

In a statement, the UN Secretary-General strongly condemned the killing of civilians, including children and women, in the attack.

Guterres also reiterated his demand for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza and the release of prisoners, saying, “The war must end.”

The Gaza Ministry of Health reported that 90 people were killed and more than 300 injured in the barbaric Israeli attack.

According to local health authorities, 38,584 Palestinians have been killed so far, most of them women and children. Besides, 88 thousand 881 people were injured.
