Earlier, last week (June 4) the first attack on the same city was carried out by missiles. A report by Arab News said that some drones were also used in the attack that day.

In a televised statement after the attack on that day, Houthi spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sari said that a military installation in Eilat port occupied by Israel was attacked with a new missile named ‘Palestine’. The main objective of the attack has been achieved.

According to Arab News reports, Israeli authorities warned Israelis by sounding sirens in Eilat shortly after the Houthi attack began and sent them to shelters.

Although Israel acknowledged the attack, it did not say the extent of damage and casualties. However, Houthi officials say that Israel has suffered huge losses in these attacks, even if they do not admit it.

On October 7 last year, Israel launched a military invasion of Gaza under the pretext of Hamas attacks. After that, for the past 8 months, the Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza have been massacred.

More than 40,000 innocent Palestinians have been killed so far, most of them women and children. More than 80 thousand were injured. About 15 thousand more are missing.
