A warning has already been issued by the horticulture department. It has warned the owners and workers of various orchards including apples, walnuts in Kashmir, what measures should be taken this summer to save their orchards. First of all, if there is a watering facility, the garden should be watered immediately. Measures should be taken to maintain moisture at the base of the tree.

Government officials said there was some rain in March-April. Then it didn’t rain. Plants need water for that. An apple is 86 percent water. So if the tree does not get water the apple will not be good. Now if we don’t get water, apple production will be less. In case of dry fruits, insects will also stick to them.

There is a lot of discussion on social media about this directive. It is being questioned whether the children will be able to go to school so early, so that they will be unwell when they get up so early. But Kashmir has a long vacation during winter. On top of that, the question arises as to how long the children will be able to attend school if the summer vacation is to be given.
The government has said that children and the elderly should not go out in the sun at noon. Take an umbrella when you go out. Drink plenty of water.
