Saudi order to make 6 things mandatory for performing Umrah

According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, Muslims who want to perform Umrah have been instructed to carry 6 mandatory items.

They said that those who come to perform Umrah from inside and outside Saudi Arabia should have 6 items mentioned in the instructions in their briefcases. This will make their Umrah much easier.

These are – identity card/passport, phone number for emergency contact, a mobile charger, book of prayers, necessary money and map of Makkah and Madinah.

Anyone can perform Umrah at any time of the year. Umrah is performed by circumambulating the Kaaba Sharif in Mecca, the holiest city in Islam.

After performing Umrah most people go to Madinah, another holy city. There they witnessed various signs of Islam including watching the fast of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

After the end of the Hajj season, the Umrah period starts again from last month. One is allowed to perform Umrah during Hajj. About 1.8 million pilgrims performed Hajj this year. However, Saudi Arabia has taken various initiatives to make the performance of Umrah easier for more than 1,000 people in this year’s Hajj mismanagement and chaos.

As part of this, the country has allowed all those holding personal, travel and tourist visas to perform Umrah. As a result no one has to wait for Umrah visa alone.
