Kim Jong Un announced to increase nuclear weapons

North Korea now wants to rapidly increase the number of nuclear weapons, the country’s supreme leader Kim Jong Un said. Kim Jong said this in a speech given on the occasion of the founding anniversary of North Korea on Monday.

In the speech, Kim Jong-un said, North Korea must more fully prepare its nuclear capabilities. For this they are implementing a nuclear power building policy. At the same time, it must be prepared to use it properly at any time to ensure the security rights of the state.

The North’s leader also said that a strong military presence is needed to counter various threats posed by the US and its proxies. North Korea faces a serious threat, Kim said. The threat is posed by the US-led nuclear-based military alliance in the region.

Meanwhile, South Korea will hold a defense minister-level meeting with the member states of the United Nations Command (UNC) on Tuesday. The UNC is headed by the commander of the US military stationed in South Korea.
