Like Saudi Arabia, another Middle Eastern country, Kuwait has also seen a different weather pattern. In a country that experiences extremely hot weather most of the year, the temperature in Kuwait has now dropped to minus 3 degrees Celsius.

Kuwaiti media outlets, citing the Meteorological Department, reported that since Monday, the temperature in this country with an area of ​​only 17,818 square kilometers has been fluctuating from minus 3 degrees Celsius to minus 6 degrees Celsius. In addition to widespread cold winds blowing across the country, snowfall has also been reported in various places.

Stating that Kuwait’s weather is now within an extended high-pressure system, Dahrar Al Ali, Executive Director of the country’s Meteorological Department, said that this high-pressure system is the result of the interaction between the coldness of the upper atmosphere and the temperate air coming from the southwest. Dahrar Al Ali said, the cold wave is not likely to stop soon. The cold wave will continue until next Friday. The temperature will start to increase gradually from Friday onwards.

A cold wave has also started in Kuwait’s neighboring country, Saudi Arabia. The temperature in many places in that country has also dropped to minus 3 degrees.
