
Malala calls for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza

Nobel Peace Prize laureate Malala Yousafzai has called for an immediate end to Israel’s ongoing war in Gaza. He demanded a ‘permanent’ ceasefire in the valley. This information was given in the report of Geo TV on Saturday.
In a post on social media X (formerly Twitter) on Friday night, Malala wrote – “It is unacceptable that the children and families of Gaza are struggling to survive and are facing this terrible situation.”
Malala has been demanding a permanent ceasefire in Gaza since last October. In addition to this, the organization established in his name has been doing development work for the poor people in Gaza.
He said, “Malala Fund has been cooperating with the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund to provide medical and humanitarian relief to children and their families in addition to calling for a ceasefire since October last year.”
Malala also said, “Currently, more than 625,000 children in Gaza cannot go to school, they do not have access to formal education.” ‘
Since October 7, the Israeli forces have been carrying out indiscriminate killings in Gaza in view of the attack by Hamas. About 37,665,000 Palestinians were killed in Gaza in this attack that lasted for more than 8 months. 86 thousand 429 were injured.
On the other hand, at least 1,139 Israelis were killed in Hamas attacks. Besides, they have dozens of Israeli prisoners.
