The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa branch of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced that it will hold protests across the province on February 25. The main objective of the protest is to protest against the delay in the disposal of the cases of party founder Imran Khan.

The PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa branch said that the protests will be held in every district of the province and a central protest will be organized at the Assembly Chowk in Peshawar.

PTI Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provincial president Junaid Akbar has directed the party’s district-level workers to mobilize their supporters and ensure a large turnout for the protests.

The party leadership is currently finalizing a well-organized strategy for the province-wide protests. PTI has long expressed concern over the protracted nature of the cases against its founder and has termed the delay as politically motivated.
