An unidentified masked man has broken a wax statue of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at a museum in Mexico City. He painted it red and smashed it with a hammer.
This information was revealed in a report with a video by NDTV on Wednesday.
In the video, the masked man first painted the statue of Netanyahu red. Then he attacked the statue with a hammer.
In the video, a Palestinian flag was seen lying near the statue’s feet. This seems to be the beginning of a symbolic protest. In front of the camera, the man said, Long live Palestine, long live Sudan, long live Yemen, long live Puerto Rico. His speech was an expression of solidarity and an anti-war message, along with an anti-war message, supporting each other worldwide.
After the incident, BDS Mexico released a detailed video. Where the person wrote, it is my moral duty to eliminate this war criminal (Netanyahu). Because the Mexico City Wax Museum forgot to paint his statue with the blood of 40,000 Palestinians.
He also said, I am doing this by embracing the Jews. Because I love them very much. Their identity has been stolen by this mass murderer. Through this comment, he protested the crimes and human rights violations committed against the Palestinians during Netanyahu’s rule.
In addition, to prevent criminals from entering the city, this person said, such war criminals will not be welcome in our city. Finally, he said, we must achieve independence as a whole. There is no other option. Death to imperialism.
After this incident, there has been no official response from the Mexico City Wax Museum authorities. However, the incident has spread widely through social media and has sparked discussions among Palestinian supporters worldwide.
The Israeli embassy in Mexico condemned the incident, calling it a “despicable act.” It also claimed that the destruction of the statue sends a message of violence, intolerance and hatred. The Israeli embassy said it was not an act of legitimate criticism.
