Kim Jong Un, the country’s supreme leader, said that North Korea has an unbreakable relationship with Russia.
Kim said this in a message on the occasion of Russian National Day on Wednesday. News from KCNA.
Kim said his meeting with Putin last year at a Russian space launch center had strengthened their century-old strategic relationship.
Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin is scheduled to visit North Korea and Vietnam soon. This information was reported on Monday in a report of the Russian media, Bedomosti.
A Vietnamese official told Reuters that Putin is planning to visit Vietnam on June 19 and 20. However, this has not been confirmed yet.
The Kremlin said that Russia wants to increase cooperation with North Korea in all fields. However, the Russian authorities did not say anything about the date of Putin’s visit.
US and South Korean officials have accused North Korea of supplying weapons to Russia in the Ukraine war. In return, they are receiving technical assistance from Russia for nuclear and missile programs.
