Saudi Arabia’s new guidelines for drinking water from Zamzam wells

Saudi Arabia has issued new guidelines for drinking water from Zamzam wells in Kaaba and Masjid an-Nabawi. According to the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Muslims should maintain peace and patience while drinking this holy water and seek the pleasure of Allah.

According to the ministry, worshipers must remember Allah’s name while drinking Zamzam water, drink water with the right hand and maintain cleanliness. Besides, while drinking water, care should be taken not to spill the water and not to perform ablution from the tap.

The ministry also said that the worshipers have been requested to keep the cups used after drinking water in a specific place. At the same time, it has been urged to refrain from pushing, avoid crowds and maintain politeness.
