Starlink Internet to be launched in Pakistan and Bangladesh soon, says Elon Musk

Starlink, owned by American technology entrepreneur Elon Musk, is providing internet services all over the world through satellites. Now, plans to launch Starlink Internet in Pakistan have been announced. Elon Musk himself confirmed this. He said that Starlink has already applied to launch internet services in Pakistan. It is now waiting for government approval.
Starlink is the world’s first and largest satellite-based constellation. Satellite internet can easily reach areas of the world where optical fiber is usually difficult to reach. Starlink is quickly becoming popular for providing internet services in remote areas in this way. It is a subsidiary of SpaceX, a company owned by Elon Musk.
The Starlink network provides broadband internet for various purposes including streaming, online gaming, and video calls. Starlink uses a network of various satellites located in low Earth orbit. The Starlink satellites are launched by SpaceX spacecraft. Starlink provides high-speed internet to users around the world.
Starlink has been trying to enter the markets of South Asian countries for the past few years. The issue of launching Starlink internet in Pakistan was first brought up by Pakistani citizen Sanam Jamali. Sanam owns Elon Musk’s car manufacturing company Tesla. She is now working as a ‘media’ for the launch of Starlink in Pakistan.
In a post on her X handle on Saturday (January 4), Sanam said that Starlink internet service can take Pakistan to a future where every citizen has the opportunity to connect. A few minutes later, Elon Musk responded to that post. He said, ‘We have already applied to the Pakistani government and are now waiting for approval.’
A little later, Sanam Jamali claimed in a second post tagging Musk that Pakistan has approved Starlink. She also said, ‘Now is the right time to bring transformative internet service to the country. Starlink can provide connectivity, education and opportunities that millions of people are waiting for. Please expedite the launch of Starlink in Pakistan.’
Starlink’s internet is also coming to Bangladesh. Bangladesh is going to organize an international investment conference in Dhaka next April, where the world’s top businessmen are likely to participate. Among them, the name of American technology entrepreneur Elon Musk is being discussed in particular.
According to government sources, a team of the interim government has already invited world-renowned investors. Discussions have already started about the possible presence of Elon Musk, which is further increasing the attraction surrounding this conference.
According to the information on the company’s website, their operations in Bangladesh may start by 2025. However, it is believed that Elon Musk’s presence at the upcoming investment conference may accelerate that timeframe.
The news also said that Starlink is already planning to start its operations in Bangladesh. It is believed that the arrival of Starlink in Bangladesh will play an important role in making internet connectivity easier and more effective in remote areas of the country.
