The Israeli delegation is going to Egypt today to discuss the exchange of hostages

Today, an Israeli delegation is going to Egypt to participate in the negotiations regarding the exchange agreement for the Israelis held hostage by the Palestinian independence organization Hamas.

An Israeli media outlet Channel 12 reported the information on Saturday. News Anadolu Agency.

Channel 12 also reported that delegations from the country’s intelligence agency Mossad, internal security agency Shin Bet and military intelligence agency Aman will go to Cairo on Sunday to discuss the hostage exchange agreement between Israel and Hamas.

On Friday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu agreed to send a delegation representing Tel Aviv to take part in indirect talks with Hamas in Doha and Cairo.

On that day, he announced that ‘his country will resume talks with a view to reaching an agreement on the exchange of hostages and a long-term ceasefire in Gaza’.

Qatar, Egypt and the US are trying to reach an agreement on a ceasefire and the release of hostages in Gaza. However, despite repeated talks, the two sides of the Gaza war, Israel and Hamas, have not been able to reach any concrete results.
