At least 35 people have been killed in US airstrikes in Syria. The US military said on Wednesday that all those killed in the strikes earlier this week were ISIS members. However, there were no civilian casualties.

The US Central Command (Centcom) said that several ISIS positions were attacked in the Syrian desert on Monday. Several senior ISIS leaders were targeted in these locations. At least 35 members of the organization were killed in the attacks.

The US military has about 900 troops in Syria as part of the international coalition against ISIS. The coalition was established in 2014 to help fight ISIS, which has seized large parts of Iraq and Syria. Later, US forces gradually targeted ISIS in Syria. At one point, the organization lost control of the territory it controlled.
