22 Israeli soldiers were killed in Hezbollah’s Arbain campaign against Israel. Al-Mayadeen reported this information with reference to European security sources on Thursday night.
Lebanon-based news media reported that the attack by Lebanese Hezbollah fighters against 8,200 units of the Israeli army in the Galilee base was very successful.
According to European security sources, 22 Israeli intelligence personnel were killed and 74 others were injured in that operation by Hezbollah.
In the wake of that attack, recently the commander of 8200 units of the Israeli army announced his resignation.
According to sources, Hezbollah has successfully targeted 8,200 intelligence units. The operation was carried out in retaliation for the killing of Hezbollah commander Fuad Shuku.
According to reliable sources, six Hezbollah drones were able to penetrate Israeli air defenses and hit targets inside the Gilat base near Tel Aviv with high precision. After the attack, Israeli forces created a tight security cordon several kilometers deep around the base.
Hezbollah chief Syed Hassan Nasrallah revealed after the operation that the first target of the operation was the Gilat base of the 8,200 intelligence unit. The second target was the ‘Ain Shamar’ air defense base, located 75 km from Lebanon and 40 km from Tel Aviv.
Nasrallah insisted that Hezbollah’s drones had successfully hit their targets. Although the Israeli forces are trying to keep the matter under wraps, the truth will emerge with time.
It should be noted that on the night of August 24, the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah attacked various important and sensitive targets with rockets and drones in the northern part of Israel.
The leader of the armed group, Hasan Nasrallah, called this military operation of Hezbollah as the ‘Arbain operation’.
