News of Iranian adviser being captured by Israeli forces is a ‘rumor’

Tehran dismissed the news of an Iranian adviser being abducted or captured by Israeli forces from Syria’s Masyaf region as rumours.
A statement published on the web page of the Iranian embassy in Damascus on Friday said that Israel has reached such a point of desperation in the context of the past 11 months of failures and defeats in Gaza that it sees no other way than killing children and spreading false news to protect itself.
The statement strongly condemned the Israeli crimes in the Masyaf region of Syria, saying that no Iranian adviser was harmed in the Israeli criminal activities in the Masyaf region and the claim that two Iranian military advisers were captured is completely false. Some unreputed or anonymous media outlets acting only as spokespersons for Israel have spread this false news.
Earlier on Thursday, Israeli media claimed that the Israeli army captured two Iranian advisers in the Masyaf region of Hama province in Syria.
