36 flights canceled and 201 flight delays due to scissors in Japan!

A sensational incident occurred at the domestic terminal of New Chitose Airport in Hokkaido, Japan.
36 flights were canceled after a pair of scissors went missing from a shop near the airport’s boarding gates. Also 201 flights were delayed.
According to BBC, the incident happened on Saturday local time of the country. Authorities later began trying to locate the two missing scissors. Finally, the next day, an employee of the store found the pair of scissors.
The scissors were in a shop near the boarding gate at New Chitose Airport on Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido. An hour-long security search was conducted without finding them. Airport authorities said the August 17 incident resulted in the cancellation of 36 flights and the delay of 201.
The fear was that a potential terrorist could take the scissors and use them as a weapon on board the plane. However, later the airport authorities said that two scissors were found. Then the flights were resumed.
