The killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran must be avenged. But Yemeni armed group Houthi Ansarullah said it was too late to take extra precautions to deliver an effective and painful response to Israel.
Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said these things in a televised address to the nation from the capital Sana’a on Thursday night.
He said the resistance axis led by Iran will undoubtedly launch a retaliatory campaign. Which will be a very effective and painful campaign for Israel. However, while taking precautions in the implementation of that campaign, the act of revenge is delayed.
This Yemeni leader said that since July 31, Israeli settlers have been living in intense fear due to the fear of Iran’s retaliatory attack.
But Abdul-Malek al-Houthi also said that the anti-Israel operation is ongoing elsewhere in the Middle East. He said the anti-Israeli campaign in southern Lebanon is in full swing and Israel is also afraid of tough action by Hezbollah in the event of a possible Iranian retaliatory attack.
Meanwhile, Abdul-Malek al-Houthi also said that 21 ballistic missiles and kamikaze drones were used in the anti-Israel operation in the Red Sea this week.
Before this, the political head of Hamas, Ismail Haniya, was assassinated by Israel in Tehran on July 31 when he came to attend the swearing-in ceremony of Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian.
At that time, the country’s top military commanders, including Iran’s supreme leader, threatened to retaliate for Israel’s move to martyr their guest, Ismail Haniya.
In this regard, the Houthi leader emphasized in his address to the people of Yemen that there will be no doubt that a retaliatory attack will be carried out.
Houthi said Yemeni naval units in support of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have so far targeted 182 merchant ships linked to Israel and their Western sponsors in maritime operations in the Red Sea.
The Ansarullah leader at this time criticized the Israeli government and said that they have been committing the greatest crime of the century against Gaza for the past 321 days with the help and support of the United States and other Western countries.
He said the Zionist enemies are carrying out a genocidal campaign to exterminate the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip through bombings, starvation, epidemics, torture and other crimes.
Houthi said religious scholars and thinkers have a great responsibility to raise awareness among Muslims and the world about the dangers of failing to support the Palestinians and their cause.
He also termed the ‘neglect and failure to help Palestine as a disaster for the entire Muslim world’.
