7 countries ordered their citizens to leave Lebanon

Tensions in the Middle East are rising over the Gaza war. The tension of Israel-Hamas war has spread in Lebanon as well. Already, the fighting between Lebanon’s armed group Hezbollah and Israel has reached an extreme level. Due to which the experts expressed the fear of starting another new war in the Middle East. In such a situation, seven countries have ordered their citizens to leave Lebanon. Anadolu news agency reported on Saturday that five more countries had issued travel warnings to their citizens for incense.

According to reports, the Saudi Embassy in Beirut on Saturday called on its citizens in Lebanon to leave Lebanese territory immediately. They stressed the need to keep in touch with the embassy in case of any emergency. On Friday, Australia strongly advised its citizens not to travel to Lebanon, citing the highly volatile security situation.

Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong has called on Australians in Lebanon to leave the country immediately. In addition, in a post on social media X, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs advised its citizens not to travel to Lebanon. It also urged those living there to leave the country while commercial flights remain open. The German Foreign Ministry also issued a travel warning and asked its citizens staying in Lebanon to leave the country. “The situation on the border between Israel and Lebanon is very tense,” Germany insisted.

The Canadian government has also urged its citizens in Lebanon to leave the country. Meanwhile, North Macedonia also asked its citizens to leave the country as soon as possible due to the worsening security situation in Lebanon. Earlier on June 22, Kuwait urged its citizens to avoid traveling to Lebanon and those inside the country to leave as soon as possible “in view of the regional security situation”. After this, these warnings and instructions came forward one by one.

Hizbollah is engaged in a war with the Israeli army along the southern border of Lebanon mainly due to the war in Gaza. The armed group said it would continue fighting to support its ally Hamas. More than 400 people have been killed in cross-border violence in Lebanon in the past eight months. On the other hand, Israel says that 14 soldiers and 10 civilians were killed in the attack from Lebanon. Hundreds of thousands of people on both sides have been displaced by this back-and-forth attack. These attacks by Hezbollah have increased in intensity over the past few months. Israel has been threatening a full-scale war against Hezbollah to stop it from attacking the border areas. There is currently a lot of excitement about this. In the meantime, the Arab League has excluded Hezbollah from the terrorist organization.

Meanwhile, Israel has increased its attacks on Gaza. The army intensified its attack on the Shujaiya area east of Gaza City. They claim that ground and air operations are going on there simultaneously. In a statement on Saturday, Israeli forces claimed that they had eliminated a large number of terrorists in the last three days. Qatar-based media Al Jazeera reported this news. Israeli forces have been conducting operations in the Shujaiya area since Thursday. They claim that their air force has attacked terrorist targets and bases of armed groups in the area. Earlier, Israel ordered the general population to immediately leave the Shujaiya area and move south along the Salah al-Din road.
