Ninety percent of the people of the besieged Gaza Strip have been displaced due to the aggression and massacres of the barbaric Israeli military forces. In this month, 250,000 Palestinian refugees have been forced to leave their areas again by the occupying forces.

The United Nations Office of the Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs reported this information on Friday.

Muhannad Hadi, humanitarian coordinator for the Occupied Palestinian Territories, said that in August alone, Israeli forces issued a total of 12 evacuation orders on average once every two days. As a result, Palestinians have to move from one place to another. It forced about 250,000 displaced Palestinians to move again.

According to a UN statement, mass evacuation orders issued by Israeli forces during the conflict have displaced 90 percent of Gaza’s residents. Many of them have been displaced from their homes or shelters several times. Palestinian refugees have also been deprived of the necessities of life due to the mass eviction order.

The statement cited the recent displacement of hundreds of thousands of civilians from the four areas of Deir al-Bala and Khan Yunus.

Muhannad Hadi said, “If the evacuation order was given to protect civilians, the reality is that the Israelis are doing the exact opposite.” That is, they are not evicting to protect Palestinian citizens.
