Israel has spent 120 million dollars or 1400 crore rupees in one day to prevent attacks by the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah. Lebanese media outlet Al-Mayadeen reported this information citing Israeli media outlet Globes.
On Sunday morning, the Lebanese armed group Hezbollah launched an attack on Israel. Basically, the group is carrying out this attack as a revenge for the death of Fuad Shukri, the senior commander of Hezbollah, in the Israeli attack on the country’s capital, Beirut. As part of this attack, Hezbollah began attacking Israeli military and other important installations. The group has even attacked the Gilit base, which is only one and a half kilometers away from Tel Aviv, the capital of Israel.
Against this attack, the Israeli forces claimed to have carried out a pre-emptive attack. They claim, against the thousands of rockets fired by Hezbollah, about 100 warplanes of the Israeli Air Force were deployed and these warplanes destroyed Hezbollah’s rockets.
The Israeli military claimed that 4,000 Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) bombs were used in this attack. Each of which costs 25 thousand dollars. A total of $18 million was spent on flying 100 fighter jets for 6 hours, $1.08 million was spent on drone operations for 12 hours and a total of $120 million including other ammunition.
