An Indian Air Force MiG-29 fighter jet has crashed. The fighter jet crashed in Rajasthan during a training mission on Monday night. However, there were no casualties.

According to the police, the pilot managed to get out of the fighter plane safely after the accident. According to the Indian Air Force, the fighter jet crashed due to a technical fault.

Officials said the fighter jet crashed near a residential area around 10 pm on Monday.

Pictures from the crash site show the fighter jet engulfed in flames. Local officials said that fire service personnel could not reach the accident site due to rainwater.
