Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar says Palestinians are ready for a long-term fight against Israel.
He said this in a message sent to Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen on Monday.
We have prepared ourselves to fight a protracted war that will break the enemy’s political will, the Hamas leader said.
He said Iran-linked groups in Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen would defeat Israel.
Earlier, the Houthis, who control Yemen’s capital Sanaa and much of the country’s Red Sea coast, launched a rare missile attack on central Israel on Sunday. No casualties were reported in the attack. However, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced revenge.
In a message addressed to Houthi leader Abdul Malik Al, Sinwar said, “You have launched missile strikes deep into enemy positions, bypassing all layers and defenses and obstacles.” Congratulations on this success.
