Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu strongly reacted to Iran’s unprecedented missile attack. He said Iran had made a “big mistake” by launching the missile attack and “should pay the price”.
He expressed this reaction at the opening ceremony of the security cabinet meeting in Jerusalem, immediately after the Iranian missile attack on Tuesday night local time. Netanyahu said Iran made a “big mistake” tonight and must pay for it.
He also commented in that meeting that this attack on Israel has been ‘failed’. Netanyahu said Israel’s air defense system is the most advanced in the world. This is why Iran’s missile attack failed. At this time, he thanked the United States for its support.
“The Iranian government does not understand our determination to defend ourselves and our determination to retaliate against our enemies,” Netanyahu said.
“Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar and Hamas military commander Mohammad Deif don’t understand it, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and Hezbollah chief of staff Fouad Shukhar don’t understand it, and maybe there are people in Tehran who don’t understand it.”
“They will understand,” threatened the Israeli Prime Minister, “whoever attacks us, we will attack him.”
