However, both countries are ranked among the top twenty militarily powerful countries in the world.

Iran is ranked 14th and Israel is 17th in the ranking of the top countries in terms of military capabilities.

Both Iran and Israel spend a lot of money on defense. However, Israel’s annual military budget is more than double that of Iran.

Israel’s defense budget is 24.4 billion dollars. On the other hand, Iran’s budget is 995 million dollars. Among the 145 countries in this ranking, Iran is at the 33rd position and Israel is at the 19th position.

Besides, Iran is leading in terms of artillery capability, where their number of rocket artillery MLRS is 775 and the number of self-propelled artillery is 580.

Nuclear power

According to the latest data from Sweden-based research organization Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI), at the beginning of last year, nine countries in the world possessed approximately 12,512 nuclear weapons.

The countries are – USA, Russia, UK, France, China, India, Pakistan, North Korea and Israel.

Iran has never officially possessed nuclear weapons on this list.

But the United States and the European Union have repeatedly claimed over the past few years that Iran is using its uranium stockpile to develop nuclear weapons. Iran claims its nuclear program is peaceful.

Meanwhile, Global Firepower did not mention in its report how many such weapons are in possession of any country. The agency says it did not take nuclear weapons capabilities into account in its report.
