US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken is visiting Saudi Arabia. He will discuss the Gaza ceasefire and efforts to prevent a broader regional conflict during the several-day visit. The US State Department confirmed this information.

According to the news, Blinken will cross to Saudi Arabia on Sunday. He is visiting the region for the first time since the long shadow war between Iran and Israel recently. During this visit, he is supposed to meet the ministers of the Gulf Arab countries.
US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said Blinken would discuss ongoing efforts for a ceasefire in Gaza. He will also discuss securing the release of hostages held by Hamas.
