Apart from Pakistan, Eid is celebrated today in the countries of the Middle East

Eid is being held in Saudi Arabia today on Wednesday. With this, Eid will be celebrated in several countries of the Middle East today. Rest of the countries will celebrate Eid on Thursday.

The holy month of Ramadan ends on Monday as the moon was not sighted in Middle Eastern countries including Saudi Arabia. These countries will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Wednesday (April 10).

Eid will be celebrated on Wednesday in Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Kuwait, Bahrain, Yemen, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, Palestine and other Middle East countries. Last year, Oman celebrated Eid-ul-Fitr a day later than other countries in the Middle East. But this year the country will celebrate Eid with Saudi. Muslims in North Africa including Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco, Libya, Sudan will also celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Wednesday. Eid is also in Pakistan.

This year’s Eid will be celebrated in Palestine in a strange situation. For the past six months, Israel has been carrying out military aggression and unprecedented massacres in the Palestinian Gaza. Last year too, Eid was celebrated in Gaza with fireworks, colorful clothes and traditional food. Now there is only wailing, mourning in graves and mass graves, the heart-breaking screams of thousands of orphans who have lost their parents. It is easy to imagine that they will have to spend this Eid day in the same way.

Australia is the first in the world to announce this year’s Eid-ul-Fitr. Muslims of the country will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Wednesday. US, UK, Canada, Turkey, Iran will also celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on Wednesday. Eid will be on Wednesday in other countries of Europe and America.

Various mosques in the populous and Muslim-dominated US states of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Virginia, Massachusetts, Connecticut, California, Texas, Florida, Ohio, Illinois, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, South Carolina, Washington and Kentucky. And Islamic centers have announced Eid-ul-Fitr congregation.

Pakistan also announced Eid-ul-Fitr on Wednesday. According to the country’s official announcement, the Eid moon was seen in the sky on Tuesday (April 9).

Research Council of Ruet-e-Helal, Pakistan’s National Moon Sighting Committee confirmed this information. Ruet-e-Helal is headquartered in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Khalid Ijaz said, “If the sky is not cloudy, the moon was seen in Peshawar at 7:18 pm on Tuesday.”

However, India has not yet announced the date of Eid. Eid will be celebrated in the country on the basis of moon sighting on Tuesday evening. If the moon is not seen on Tuesday, then Eid in India will be on Thursday.

Usually the moon is seen in Bangladesh one day after Saudi Arabia. This time Ramadan also started one day after Saudi Arabia. The National Moon Sighting Committee will meet on Tuesday to decide when Eid will be held in Bangladesh. If the moon is sighted on Tuesday, Eid will be celebrated in the country on Wednesday. And if the moon is not seen, Eid will be on Thursday.
