Trump made these comments while talking to the Wall Street Journal. At the same time, if China wants to block Taiwan, he will impose tariffs on Beijing if elected president.

Trump said, I would rather say, I would have to impose a 150 to 200 percent tax on China.

The Republican candidate said that US adversaries will not act against American interests under the Trump administration. Because they will fear a strong, even unexpected, response.

Trump also said that he would not have to use military force to prevent the blockade of Taiwan. Because he said, President Xi Jinping respects me and he knows that I’m angry.

The former US president claims that he has a good understanding with Russian President Vladimir Putin. At the same time, Trump said that he threatened Moscow not to invade Ukraine.

Meanwhile, Trump accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on October 17, saying that he helped start a war with Russia. The comment indicates that if Trump wins the election on November 5, he could make a major change in US policy towards Ukraine.

Trump has often criticized Zelensky during the election campaign. The former US president called Zelensky the ‘world’s best salesman’. Because Ukraine has taken billions of dollars in military aid since the war began in 2022.

Trump has accused Ukrainian President Zelensky of failing to make peace with Russia. At the same time, he has indicated that Ukraine may have to cede some land to Russia as part of a peace deal, which is considered unacceptable to Kiev.

Speaking to Patrick Bett-David on the PBD podcast, Trump said Zelensky not only failed to end the war, but he was also responsible for starting it. Trump said, “That doesn’t mean I don’t want to help him. Because I feel bad for those people. But he should never have let this war start. War is a defeat.”

Zelensky presented his “Victory Plan” to Trump in a meeting in New York in September. The two leaders described the meeting as cordial.

Trump’s comments suggest that if he is able to defeat Vice President Kamala Harris in the November 5 election, he may try to cut aid to Ukraine. He has repeatedly said he can end the conflict before he takes office. But he has not said how.

Kamala Harris has pledged to continue helping Ukraine and considers the Eastern European country’s victory vital to US national security. He criticized Trump, saying he lacked the ability to stand up to Russian President Vladimir Putin.
