Drone delivery of goods to customers’ homes is becoming increasingly popular around the world. However, those drones cannot carry such heavy goods. In this case, China is creating an exceptional example.

According to the international news agency Reuters on Friday, China, the world’s second economy, is conducting a test flight of a drone capable of carrying goods weighing 3.2 tons.

According to the report, to meet China’s domestic needs in the future, drone manufacturers are constantly focusing on large-scale unmanned aerial vehicles. As part of this, China’s ‘SA750U’ drone has been developed.

According to the report of China’s official Hunan Daily on Friday, the ‘SA750U’ drone made in southern China’s Hunan Province flew in the sky for 40 minutes last Thursday.

According to the manufacturers, the aircraft will be able to travel 2000 km above 24000 feet.

Earlier this month, a test flight of a two-tonne cargo-carrying drone was carried out in Sichuan province. Before the end of the month, the country saw the test flight of a drone carrying a weight of three and a half tons.

About two months ago, the state-owned Aviation Industry Corp of China conducted a test flight of a drone carrying a 700 kg product.

The drone industry in China is expected to reach 280 billion dollars by 2030.
