Erdogan urges Islamic world to unite

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called on Islamic countries to unite and take action against Israel’s aggression in Gaza.
According to Al Jazeera’s report on Friday, Erdogan noted that Turkey is making relentless efforts to take unified action on behalf of the Islamic world. He said, “We continue to help the people of Gaza and Lebanon.”
Erdogan noted that Turkey is one of the largest aid providers to the Palestinians. At the same time, Turkey has already strongly condemned Israel’s attacks on Gaza and Lebanon.
According to the Reuters report, Turkey has previously discussed a possible ceasefire with Hamas and recommended them to move the process forward.
Erdogan’s statement emphasizes the importance of taking unified action among Islamic countries in his region. The call has come to the center of renewed discussion amid the ongoing conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon.
