Gaza’s Deputy Minister of Labor, Ehab al-Hussein, was killed in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza City. Hamas said that three others were killed.

Earlier, Hamas said its operatives recovered four bodies and many wounded after an Israeli bombardment of a school building sheltering a large number of displaced people in western Gaza City.

Video footage verified by Al-Jazeera’s fact-checking news agency Sanad showed dozens of displaced people fleeing the school after the ground floor was bombed.

The dead and injured have been admitted to Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in the city.

Incidentally, at least 38 thousand 153 people have been killed and 87 thousand 828 injured in the Israeli attack on Gaza since October 7 last year.
