Apart from this, the leaders of various countries, including the US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, are going there to attend the special conference of the World Economic Forum, which is about to start in Saudi Arabia. There will also be a discussion about the Palestine war.
In this situation, the Palestinian resistance organization Hamas said, they are looking into the offer made by Israel.
It is reported that there are indications of new ceasefire talks as well as preparations for a ground operation by Israeli forces in the southern city of Rafah in Gaza. An Egyptian delegation has arrived in Israel to restart stalled ceasefire talks.
In a statement, the deputy head of Hamas’s political wing, Khalil al-Hayya, said that on April 13, Hamas received the official response of the Zionist occupiers to the proposal made through mediators in Egypt and Qatar. The organization will consider the proposal. It will be answered after investigation.
Hamas is insisting on a permanent ceasefire to release the hostages. However, Israel rejected this demand of Hamas.
Meanwhile, 32 more Palestinians were killed in 24 hours by Israel’s attack on Gaza. Since October 7, 34,388 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in Gaza. About 77,500 people were injured.
According to a Reuters report, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and some global officials will participate in the talks on the peace agreement in Gaza on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) conference in Riyadh this week. WEF President Borge Brende said this.
The WEF president said that the situation in Gaza will also be discussed at the conference, and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken will participate in the conference. At the same time, the Prime Minister of Qatar, the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, the Crown Prince of Oman and the officials of Bahrain will also participate in it.
