Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh was killed in Iran

Ismail Haniya, head of the Palestinian armed organization Hamas, has been assassinated in Tehran, Iran.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps confirmed that Haniyeh and one of his bodyguards were killed in an attack on his residence in Tehran on Wednesday morning (July 31). Khabar Press TV.

The media says that Ismail Haniyeh, the political head of Hamas, has been killed in Tehran, the capital of Iran, according to the Iranian media.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps statement offered its condolences to the Palestinian people, the Muslim world and the fighters of the Resistance Front on the death of the Hamas leader.

A Hamas statement said Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of the Palestinian group, was killed in an Israeli raid on his residence in Tehran.

Earlier on Tuesday, Haniya attended the inauguration of Iran’s new president and met Iran’s supreme leader.
