The Lebanese armed group Hezbollah launched a rocket attack on the Israeli government’s 506 air surveillance base in Meron on Friday.

Israeli news sources reported that sirens were heard in and around Meron in occupied northern Palestine.

According to Israeli media, several rockets have been fired from Lebanon towards Mount Meron in occupied northern Palestine. In this incident, fire spread in that area.

Israeli sources also claimed that their air defense system intercepted five rockets.

Meanwhile, Arab News reported that Hezbollah’s rockets targeted two positions in the Israeli-occupied Sheba Farms and Upper Galilee.

The Lebanese armed group has been carrying out regular attacks on various military positions of the occupying government since October 7 last year in retaliation for the Israeli regime’s attack on Gaza and southern Lebanon.

Israel launched its brutal offensive in besieged Gaza, after Hamas launched an unprecedented campaign against the occupying entity on October 7 in retaliation for Israel’s rampant brutality against the Palestinian people.

Israeli forces imposed a complete blockade on the densely populated area and cut off fuel, electricity, food and water supplies to the more than two million Palestinians living there.

40 thousand 265 Palestinians have been killed so far in the continuous attack of Israeli forces in Gaza. Another 93 thousand 144 people were injured.
