Nasrullah was killed in an Israeli attack, Hezbollah confirmed

The Lebanese armed group has confirmed that Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah was killed in an overnight Israeli attack in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
In a statement on Saturday afternoon, Hezbollah confirmed that its Secretary General Sayed Hassan Nasrullah was martyred in an Israeli airstrike.
Earlier, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claimed the death of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrullah. At 1:57 pm Bangladesh time, they officially announced the killing of Hezbollah chief on social media.
Many people were killed and wounded in intense Israeli airstrikes in Dahi area of Beirut on Friday.
Meanwhile, the news of the Hezbollah chief’s death is a source of great grief for Hezbollah and its followers, and is expected to increase tensions in the Middle East.
Nasrullah’s death could spark fears of renewed conflict in the region amid Lebanon’s ongoing conflict with Israel.
Hezbollah has confirmed that it will continue to fight the enemy and defend Lebanon as well as support Gaza and Palestine.
