Ibrahim Raisi was the ‘butcher of Tehran’, Israel says

Iran’s President Ibrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Amir Abdullahian were killed in a helicopter crash on May 19.

After news of the Iranian president’s death spread, Israel’s social media began to receive many reactions.

The Times of Israel report quoted many such comments. Those who described the death of Iranian President Raisi as “good news” for Israel.

A religious leader in the Israeli city of Yam has urged his students not to recite the prayer during the Jewish week. This prayer is exempted during celebrations or during Jewish festivals.

The report mentions the incident of dancing and singing after Ibrahim Raisi’s death.

Israeli media outlet Yai Net News published a report on Ibrahim Raisi’s rise on their website. They titled it ‘Butcher of Tehran’.

Another report on the website was titled ‘Death of Iran’s most hated man’.

Turkish news agency Anadolu reported that Israeli leaders rejoiced over the death of Iran’s president.
