India has always blamed Pakistan for the issue of terrorism; It ranges from domestic to international forums. On the same issue, the country has warned to enter Pakistan and launch an operation.

CNN News Network 18 reported that India’s Defense Minister Rajnath Singh has given such a stern warning to Pakistan. He said that if someone tries to carry out terrorist activities in India and escapes across the border, India will kill him by entering Pakistan.

Rajnath gave this warning in an interview given to the media on Friday.

According to a recent report by the British newspaper The Guardian, the Indian government has killed around 20 people in Pakistan since 2020. They are carrying out such operations as part of a larger plan to eliminate terrorists living on foreign soil.

When CNN News 18 asked about this report, Rajnath Singh said, “If they (terrorists) escape to Pakistan, we will enter Pakistan and kill them.”

However, when Reuters contacted India’s Ministry of External Affairs for comment on The Guardian’s report, they did not respond. Pakistan’s foreign ministry also declined to comment on the matter. Pakistan has always denied India’s allegations of harboring militants.

Indian Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said, “India always wants to maintain good relations with neighboring countries… But if someone repeatedly shows blood to India, comes to India and commits terrorist acts, then we will not let them go.”

Relations between the two countries have hit rock bottom since the 2019 bombing of a fleet of Indian Army vehicles in Kashmir. After the Pulwama attack that year, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi had threatened to kill Rajnath from a public meeting.

Within days of the Pulwama attack, India launched an airstrike in Pakistan’s Balakot. Delhi claimed that the attack was carried out on a terrorist base. However, an Indian pilot was detained in Pakistan while conducting the operation. He was later handed over to India by the then Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government.

Earlier this year, Pakistan said it had admissible evidence that India had killed two citizens on Pakistani soil. However, India termed the allegations as false and malicious propaganda.

The Guardian’s report comes months after allegations surfaced that India was attempting to kill or kill on Canadian and US soil.

In September last year, Canada said it was investigating credible allegations of India’s links to the shooting death of a Sikh separatist leader in June that year. India termed such allegations as baseless and ulterior motives. The relationship between the two countries deteriorated over this.

On the other hand, in November last year, the US said that it foiled an attempt to kill a Sikh separatist leader on its soil. The person charged in connection with the incident worked with India to coordinate the assassination plan.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured that India will investigate the incident if it gets any information.
