Indian companies under US sanctions for helping Russia

The United States has imposed sanctions on 19 Indian companies and two Indian citizens for helping Russia in the ongoing war between Ukraine and Russia. It is alleged that these companies have illegally provided military and industrial assistance to Russia.

Russia needs advanced technology and equipment to continue its war against Ukraine. However, due to US sanctions, the country is unable to import any type of weapons from other countries.

They recently banned 400 individuals and companies, including four Indian companies, for allegedly helping Russia by circumventing the US sanctions.

However, this time the US has banned 275 more individuals and companies. Along with China, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Indian companies are also on the list. Several people from Belarus are on the list.

The US Treasury Department said that Russia is illegally waging a war against Ukraine. America will not hesitate to take strict action against those who are helping it by providing advanced technology and equipment.

Treasury Department Deputy Secretary Wali Adimo said that efforts are being made to get Russia out of the war. This ban is proof of that effort by the United States. America and its allies are determined to take strong action against those who are helping Russia continue the war by avoiding sanctions.

The 15 Indian companies that have been banned are Abhar Technologies and Services Private Limited, Denvas Services Private Limited, Emsystech, Galaxy Bearings Ltd, Orbit Fintrade LLP, Innovio Ventures, KDG Engineering Private Limited and Khushbu Honing Private Limited, Lokesh Machines Limited, Pointer Electronics, RRG Engineering Technologies Private Limited, Sharpline Automation Private Limited, Shaurya Aeronautics Private Limited, Shreegee Impex Private Limited, Shreya Life Sciences Private Limited. Earlier, on Wednesday, the United States banned four companies named Ascent Aviation India Private Limited, Mask Trans, TSMD Global Private Limited, Futrevo.
