Iran is preparing to attack Israel from Iraq

Iran has already announced a counterattack in response to the Israeli attack. Now it has been learned that the country is also preparing for that attack. And Iran is thinking of conducting that attack from Iraqi territory rather than from its own soil; Israeli intelligence is giving this information.

Citing two unidentified Israeli sources, Axios reported on Thursday that Iran’s attack could take place before the US presidential election on November 5. And that attack could come from Iraqi territory.

The Axios report also said that the attack is expected to be carried out from Iraq using a large number of drones and ballistic missiles.

The report also said that Iran’s strategic goal is to attack Iraq through pro-Iranian militias. Because by doing so, Tehran will be able to avoid another Israeli attack. And as part of that effort, Iran may not use its own territory in this attack.
