The US has again warned about Israel’s lack of preparation after the Gaza war. The US raised questions about how governments would be established and run in the region.

He said these things at a press conference organized in Moldovan capital Chisinau on Wednesday (May 29). Aljazeera news.

US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said Israel must have a plan to ensure the defeat of Hamas and to restore security and establish a government there.

He said, it is not possible to move forward without such a plan. In addition, Israel has indeed succeeded in crushing Hamas’s military capabilities in Gaza. At the same time, he said, Israel should not be solely responsible for determining the future of Gaza.

As for Israel’s lack of a plan for post-war Gaza, Blinken said it means Hamas will take control of Gaza again, which is unexpected. In this situation, the United States is pressuring Israel to plan with Gaza. They demand that Gaza be governed by a reformed Palestinian Authority (PA) after the war.

However, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected the US proposal. He said that the control of Gaza should not be given to the Palestinian Authority, but to the control of Gaza and the West Bank by Israel. That is why they are trying to eliminate Hamas completely.
