Israeli forces gang-raped Palestinian prisoners in prison

Allegations of Israeli soldiers torturing Palestinian prisoners inside prisons are long-standing. However, this time a video of the rape of a Palestinian male prisoner in an Israeli prison has come to light. An Israeli TV channel aired the CCTV footage.
The video shows a group of soldiers taking the prisoner to a corner of the SDE Teman base prison premises and raping them. The rapists are hidden by shields or armor by other soldiers.
Israeli forces launched an investigation into a similar rape allegation late last month. It has not yet been settled. 9 soldiers were detained for questioning. In this incident, some ultra-radical Israeli organizations started protesting. Some of these organizations are also close to the government. Three of the accused soldiers have been released.
US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said, ‘We have seen the video. Know about allegations of sexual harassment. Terrible incident. Prisoners also have human rights. It cannot be undermined. If the soldiers do such things, then the Israeli government should take appropriate measures. It should be investigated who did this. The culprits should be punished.
