Kim calls US criticism reckless behavior

The United States and Western countries have long claimed that North Korea is supplying troops to Russia in the Ukraine war. Washington released a statement on Monday in this regard. North Korea strongly condemned this. They called this US-led criticism reckless behavior.

The United States issued a statement on Monday that North Korea’s increasing involvement in the Ukraine war in support of Russia is leading to a dangerous expansion of the conflict. It said that North Korea is leading to serious consequences for European and Indo-Pacific security. And the statement was signed by Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union’s high representatives.

Such statements from the West were not taken well by North Korea. North Korea strongly condemned the United States and its allies in this regard on Thursday. They call this statement by the United States and its allies a ‘reckless provocation’.

The Korean Central News Agency said in a statement that a foreign ministry spokesman said 10 countries and the European Union (EU) were distorting and slandering Pyongyang’s “normal cooperative” relations with Moscow.

The US statement said, “We call on North Korea to immediately stop all forms of support for Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, including the withdrawal of its troops.”

After Washington’s statement, Pyongyang’s foreign ministry issued a counter-statement saying, “This is a serious concern and protest. We strongly condemn and reject the reckless provocations of the United States and its vassals. This response by the enemy forces indicates that the increased cooperation between Pyongyang and Moscow is effectively “preventing the expansion of the influence of the United States and the West.”
