Kim orders further increase in weapons production

Despite international restrictions, North Korea is often seen conducting ballistic missile tests. This time, the country’s leader, Kim Jong Un, has ordered more weapons.
According to information provided by the country’s state media KCNA, the country’s president Kim Jong Un visited a secret uranium production center on Friday. After the inspection, he ordered to take more vigorous initiatives to increase the number of nuclear weapons at a ‘compound rate’.
It is not clear whether the secret weapons-grade uranium production facility is at North Korea’s main Yongbyon nuclear site, but in 2010 visiting American researchers were shown a nuclear facility at Yongbyon; Then, for the first time, North Korea announced a facility they were building to enrich their uranium.
After such a message from Kim Jong Un, it is assumed that the pressure on the United States and its allies will increase. Because, from the images that the media has published of certain areas, the rest will be able to guess how much North Korea will increase the production of nuclear material. Moreover, there is also the possibility that North Korea may have more secret uranium facilities. Which will increase the anxiety on its adversary countries.
During a tour of the Nuclear Weapons Institute and a weapons-grade nuclear materials production facility, Kim repeatedly expressed his satisfaction with North Korea’s “great technical capabilities of the nuclear power plant,” state news agency KCNA reported.
KCNA said Kim walked around the control room of the uranium enrichment center and a construction site. This will increase their capability to produce nuclear weapons.
North Korea’s state-run news media showed scientists briefing Kim as he walked past a long line of long gray tubes. However, KCNA did not say when Kim visited the facilities and where they were located.
KCNA said Kim stressed the need to further increase the number of centrifuges to “accelerate nuclear weapons for self-defense”. He has repeatedly spoken of achieving this goal in recent years.
The news agency said Kim directed officials to launch new types of centrifuges (which have reached their full or end stage).
KCNA also reported that Kim said North Korea needed greater defenses and preemptive strike capabilities because the anti-North Korean “nuclear threat from the imperialist US-led coalition has become more naked and crossed the final line.”
