Kyrgyz Embassy in Russia holds meeting on migration issues with Kyrgyz diaspora leaders

Bishkek: On September 20, the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Russia organized a meeting between representatives of the Main Department for Migration Issues of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation and leaders of Kyrgyz diasporas and regional associations in Moscow and Moscow region.

The meeting aimed to provide information and raise awareness about migration-related issues.

During the event, the Russian authorities discussed recent legislative changes and initiatives in the field of migration. They also provided information on the migration situation of Kyrgyz citizens in Russia, including statistics on misdemeanors committed by Kyrgyz nationals.

As a result of the meeting, both parties agreed to intensify efforts in conducting information and awareness campaigns among Kyrgyz citizens residing in Russia.
