The funeral of 28 people killed in three separate Israeli airstrikes on refugee camps in the city was held outside a hospital in central Gaza, Al Jazeera reported. Associated Press footage showed people praying in front of the body before it was taken on a donkey cart for burial in Deir al-Balah.

Before this, 19 people including five women and 9 children were killed in a terrible attack on the Nuseirat refugee camp last Tuesday. Another person was killed in a separate attack on the camp. Eight people, including three women, were killed in the attack on the nearby Burez camp.
