Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced a $5 million reward for the release of hostages held by Hamas in the Palestinian enclave of Gaza. In addition, Netanyahu said that those who help free the Israeli prisoners will also be allowed to leave the war-torn Gaza.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a short visit to Gaza on Tuesday (November 19). He announced the reward there. Al Jazeera reported.

At that time, Netanyahu said that even if the war is over, Hamas will never rule Gaza again. Israeli forces have completely destroyed Hamas’s military capabilities.

He said, “To those who want to leave this war-torn valley, I say to them, if anyone brings the prisoners to us, he will find a way to leave here safely for himself and his family. We will pay $5 million for each hostage.”

“The choice is yours, but the result will be the same. We will bring them all back,” he said.

According to Israeli data, Hamas still holds 101 prisoners in Gaza. Although they believe about a third of them are now dead.

Netanyahu announced the reward amid ongoing mass protests in Israel by families of hostages and their supporters. Protesters are demanding that Netanyahu agree to a ceasefire deal with Hamas so that their loved ones can be released.
