The Palestinian Authority has temporarily suspended the broadcast of Qatar’s Al Jazeera TV in Palestine. The Palestinian Authority has temporarily suspended the broadcast of this international TV, mainly accusing it of broadcasting provocative material. However, this decision will not be effective in the Gaza Strip. Because the Palestinian Authority does not govern Gaza. This information was reported by Reuters in a report on Thursday.

The Palestinian news agency Wafa reported that the Palestinian Authority has temporarily suspended the broadcast of Al Jazeera television and its activities in the territory due to the broadcasting of provocative material.

Meanwhile, the order to close Al Jazeera states that the decision is temporary, but the date when the temporary order will end is not specified.

However, it is believed that this decision to close Al Jazeera will not be effective in Hamas-run Gaza. Because the Palestinian Authority cannot exercise any power in Gaza.

On the other hand, the Fatah party that controls the Palestinian Authority says that Al Jazeera is creating division in our Arab homeland and especially in Palestine. Palestinians are being encouraged not to cooperate with this television.

Earlier, in September last year, Israel attacked Al Jazeera’s bureau in the West Bank city of Ramallah. At that time, it also ordered it to close.
