President of Mongolia Meets Prime Minister of Japan

On the sidelines of the UN Summit of the Future in New York City, President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa received Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida on September 24, 2024.

President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa commended the deepening of relations between Mongolia and Japan, which share common democratic values, under the “Special Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity,” and the active cooperation between the two countries within the framework of the United Nations and other international organizations.

The two sides expressed mutual commitment to actively working together to elevate bilateral relations and cooperation.

The President of Mongolia and the Prime Minister of Japan reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring the effective implementation of the Action Program of the”Special Strategic Partnership for Peace and Prosperity,” expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in all sectors, enhancing bilateral and multilateral dialogues, increasing their frequency, and cooperating more closely on regional and international fora under common goals.
