Royal invitation to 1,000 Palestinians for Hajj

Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz invited 1000 family members of martyred Palestinians for Hajj. He extended a royal invitation to 1,000 family members of Palestinians who were killed-injured by Israeli forces or detained in prisons of the occupying state.

According to Arab News, King Salman on Tuesday ordered royal hospitality for 2,322 pilgrims, including 1,000 family members of Palestinians who were killed, wounded or imprisoned by Israel.

The Saudi Press Agency reported that 1,300 people from more than 88 countries and 22 family members of the conjoined twins separated in Saudi Arabia will also be invited to the Hajj.

This project is conducted under the supervision of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance of Saudi Arabia. Since its inception 26 years ago, more than 60,000 pilgrims have been invited under this program.

Saudi Minister of Religion, Dawah and Guidance. Abdul Latif bin Abdul Aziz Al Sheikh said the order reflects the Saudi leadership’s continued care for Muslims around the world and efforts to strengthen unity and brotherhood among Muslims.

The minister said that preparations for hosting these pilgrims have started and a strategic plan has also been prepared.
